About Us
ECS Transport Planning was formed to provide a comprehensive transport planning service, predominantly focusing on the private development sector. The ethos behind the company is to provide independent specialist transportation advice which is not influenced by multi-discipline internal pressures and therefore focuses purely on quality of advice and delivery.
Our Approach
Working in partnership with developers and other members of the professional team we develop access strategies, advise on complex site assembly issues and layout options to maximise development potential and value. At the planning application stage we assess how the development can best be accommodated on the network by presenting commercially viable and practical solutions for any required improvements and undertaking negotiations with roads and planning authorities
Once planning consent has been achieved, we provide detailed design consultancy services to deliver an end product that is safe, buildable and cost effective. We also frequently advise on asset management of existing developments to maximise asset value by identifying improvements to access and servicing arrangements, car park management and travel plan monitoring.
ECS prides itself on ensuring it understands the Clients ambitions and the commercial realities of the scheme which are imperative to represent the Client appropriately in negotiations. Staff have been handpicked, not only for their technical ability but for their understanding of the development and commercial market.
The company and its staff has a strong track record of delivering projects with repeat business from existing Clients the main focus for growth. ECS has the required software and technical ability to deliver any transport related project, no matter the scale or complexity.
ECS are happy to support, promote and present our client’s interests and the outcome of studies and research to any audience such as public meetings and hearings and have experienced expert witnesses, where required, for leading evidence at public inquiries.
