Care Home Facility, Granton on Spey
ECS were commissioned to prepare a Transport Statement to support a planning application for a 40 bed care home in Granton on Spey. The application received a number of objections from local residents, including various transport and access related matters. The Transport Statement successfully demonstrated to The Highland Council that the proposed access, parking and accessibility of the site was suitable for the proposed use and location.
Proposed Hotel, Ballantyne House, Academy Street, Inverness
The proposals were to convert an existing office block on Academy Street in to a hotel, however, the site had no car parking or dedicated servicing area. ECS provided justification to support the proposed development and demonstrated that existing city centre car parking and on-street loading facilities were sufficient to support the proposals.
Car Showroom, Handforth
ECS were commissioned to provide a Transport Statement to support a planning application for the conversion of an existing industrial unit in to a prestige car showroom. ECS demonstrated that the proposed alterations to the internal layout and the existing highway network could accommodate vehicle transporters and was in keeping with current transport policy.
